Hello and welcome to Gail's Nails.

I am Gail Nicholls, an award-winning nail artist with over 30 years of professional experience in the nail industry. I trained at Tamworth College, where I achieved my NVQ certification, and throughout my career I have continued to invest in my development by training one-to-one with leading nail technicians and nail artists in the UK and internationally.

Over the years, I have competed at both national and international level, achieving first place at London Beauty UK and Nailympia, as well as multiple second and third place awards. I have also been proud to place in the Top 5 at the Scratch Awards on three separate occasions.

Alongside my work as a nail artist, I am a passionate educator. I love sharing my knowledge and real-world experience, whether I am teaching complete beginners or delivering advanced nail art courses to experienced technicians.

After years of testing and working with countless professional products, I decided to develop my own range for nail technicians who want exceptional quality and reliable performance. This led to the creation of my new Glimmer range — carefully formulated products designed to support creativity, skill development, and outstanding results.

I am also currently developing online courses for beginners and for nail technicians who want to refine their skills and elevate their nail art.
